PRINCIPALS REPORT
With the weather becoming warmer, it is lovely for our students to be able to make the most of the opportunities to be outside. Ms Weavers’ class held their ‘3 for me’ in our outdoor classroom space this week and the students and their parents participated in an “Amazing Nature Race” followed by a healthy morning tea using produce from our garden.
Principals report

Well done!
I would like to acknowledge the incredible individual achievements of several of our students. We congratulate Lillian Latham who has been recognised as ‘top of the school’ in this year’s NAPLAN. Lillian has been invited to attend a special presentation ceremony next month in which she will be awarded a certificate for her achievement by the Minister for Education. Well done Lillian! We would also like to congratulate Emma Henkel for some incredible achievements in athletics in the past month. Emma received a bronze medal in the 1500 metre event at the recent ‘All Schools Athletics Championships’. Emma also competed in the recent Athletics South Championships in which she placed second in the under 15 road race and third in the cross country event. What amazing achievements!
Class placements
We are beginning class placements for 2019 next week. Please advise in writing if you have any concerns or considerations of an educational nature that you wish to be considered for your child’s class placement. Could you leave comments and requests in a sealed envelope with the office by Wednesday 7th November.
